Founded on May 8, 2019, Aura Hair Co. was born from a vision: to create a space where artists could thrive creatively without limitations. The founder, Dominique DiBenedetto, set out to build a salon where individuality is not only accepted but celebrated—a secure, inspiring environment where no one ever has to question how they’re “supposed” to create.

From the beginning, the goal was to foster a collective of artists who care deeply about their craft, each other, and, most importantly, the guests they serve. Drawing on over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, including running a successful salon suite for six years, Dominique designed Aura Hair Co. to do things differently: prioritizing a team-driven, client-first approach that combines skill, creativity, and premium products to help every guest look and feel their absolute best.
